Horizontal flare units
It is customary to use horizontal flare units for thermal treatment of gas discharges, vapors, combustible and non-combustible industrial effluents which can contain dissolved salts and solids. They represent special equipment for the disposal of gases and combustible vapors being the products of processes in gas processing and oil refining industries.
The design of a horizontal flare unit depends on the peculiarities of the process, as well as volume, composition and pressure of the discharged gas. Seismic conditions are also taken into account in the selection of a suitable design.
Advantages of horizontal flare units
Horizontal flare units (UGF) manufactured by the Joint-Stock Company ModulNefteGazEngineering are supplied to Clients fully prefabricated. Our Clients can buy horizontal flare units both in mobile and stationary design.
Our horizontal flare unit is manufactured taking into account modern engineering solutions which make it possible to burn even the hardest-to-burn gaseous and liquid waste. Small footprint and mobility of our horizontal flare units make them irreplaceable in the processes of development, repair and prompt commissioning of oil, gas and gas condensate wells.
The scope of UGF supply also includes: a pilot burner, a thermocouple for flame monitoring and a high voltage electrode for ignition. Upon a request, a horizontal flare unit can be also equipped with an optical flame monitoring relay.
All in all, four main types of horizontal flare units can be distinguished.
UGF-V – a horizontal flare unit used to burn gases, purge gases from gas field wells, gases discharged from wells during purges of flow lines.
